Message From the Head of Department

Welcome to Alanya University Cartoon and Animation Department web page.

Our department started accepting students for the first time in the 2021-2022 academic year and continues to rapidly develop standards in every field.

Our department, which has become increasingly important thanks to the developing computer and digital communication technologies, has the opportunity to work in a wide range of fields from video games to feature films, from medical presentations to architectural visualization. In this respect, our department, which aims to train professionals expected by both the academic and business world, enriches our students with its education program and elective course groups. At the same time, it is among our long-term goals to educate students who have ethical and aesthetic values, who are eager for lifelong learning, and who follow universal art-design norms. In order to achieve our goals, we increase collaborations with strong professionals and institutions in the field and ensure that students benefit from certain experiences.

Although the language of instruction in our department is Turkish, we would like to remind you that international programs such as Erasmus+ are intensively implemented, as well as the high level of foreign language learning opportunities in our school and the high level of international students.

In this context, we recommend that candidates who are interested in leadership, entrepreneurship and group work, as well as candidates who are interested in visualization with high imagination, who are interested in art and design, should prefer our department.
